Mikayla

Co-Founder · Physician Assistant

Mikayla is a board certified physician assistant who has trained extensively in neurotoxin, dermal filler, and rejuvenative skin treatments. She is passionate about educating patients, science-driven results, and delivering high quality and effective care to everyone she sees. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology from Tennessee Tech University and her masters in Physician Assistant studies from Trevecca University in Nashville, TN.

She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and has a subspecialty in dermatology. When Mikayla is not at work, you can find her spending time with her son and husband, likely with a cup of coffee in hand and a book nearby or going for a run around her neighborhood. If you haven’t figured it out by now, as a founder of Subtle Aesthetic Company, Mikayla loves people. So coffee dates with friends or hanging out with family is a non-negotiable.

Aubrey

Co-Founder · Registered Nurse & Licensed Aesthetician

Aubrey is a licensed aesthetician and registered nurse with years of experience in the aesthetic industry. She believes that results start with relationships and that every patient deserves individualized care. Aubrey’s career started with a degree in Journalism & Electronic media from the University of Tennessee Knoxville but shifted towards aesthetics when she realized her passion for skin health. She received her aesthetic licensing from Tennessee School of Beauty and later received her Bachelor’s of Nursing from UT. Something she loves about being a dual licensed provider is how it allows her to create a holistic and comprehensive treatment plan for all her patients. Her expertise spans facials, lasers, skincare, chemical peels, microneedling, neurotoxin, and dermal filler. 

When she is not at work you can find her on stage playing music, enjoying a good roll of sushi, or drinking far too much caffeine than any one person should consume.

Medical Director

Stephen Pacifico, MD

Dr. Stephen Pacifico is a board-certified general surgeon who brings extensive medical and surgical experience to his role as Medical Director. A graduate of East Tennessee State University’s Quillen College of Medicine, Dr. Pacifico completed his surgical residency at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine in Knoxville.

With a background rooted in precision, patient safety, and evidence-based medicine, Dr. Pacifico provides medical oversight and guidance to help ensure the highest standards of care throughout the practice. His experience as a surgeon brings a meticulous understanding of anatomy and clinical decision-making.
